- For the SteamVR Version of Pistol Whip:

- For the Oculus Version of Pistol Whip:
This can be done by going into the Oculus Store > Settings > General > 'Set Oculus as Active'
ISSUE: Valve Index Controllers Disappear In-Game
After extensive testing, our developers have narrowed down the cause of missing controllers for the Valve Index headsets to the sensor. This was caused by the move to OpenXR, where the Index headset does not report controller presence when the sensor is off.
Our move to OpenXR is required to keep us in step with the recent software interfaces provided by the platforms. This allows us to continue to provide new content and features.
Below are our team’s recommended workarounds:
- Fully power cycle your Valve Index headset.
This can be done by unplugging the headset from its power supply, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in.
- Disable the SteamVR setting 'Pause VR when headset is idle"
This can be found in SteamVR Settings > Video > 'Pause VR when headset is idle'.
