Pistol Whip’s Free Weekend on Steam has been delayed

Hey Action Heroes, it’s the Pistol Whip team here again with an update on our Steam Free Weekend.

We had plans to invite you all to a Pistol Whip Free Weekend event on Steam, which was due to start today and run through to June 4.

Unfortunately, technical difficulties arose in the eleventh hour; we uncovered an issue that severely impacted the game experience for players, especially those playing the game for the first time.

As excited as we were to introduce Pistol Whip to thousands of new players on Steam this weekend, they wouldn’t be getting the best possible experience, and we just weren’t happy with that. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to delay the Free Weekend event entirely.

Please do stay tuned! We fully intend to address the technical issue at hand and reschedule the event, and will keep the community closely updated on new dates. In the meantime, thank you all for your patience—and if you’re one of the players experiencing the bug in question, we have some workarounds for you here.
